Laboratory Water Testing

Water samples collected at the home and tested by a laboratory, a smart add-on for homes on a private well.

A road through tall pines in North Carolina

Many homes outside the town centres in Moore, Richmond, Hoke and Scotland counties get their water from a private well. A well is not tested by any utility, so the only way to know what is coming out of the tap is to test it.

We collect the water sample during your inspection and send it to a laboratory for analysis. You get the lab’s results in writing, and we will help you understand them.

What it covers

  • Sample collected at the home by our inspector
  • Analysis by a laboratory, not a home test strip
  • Written laboratory results for your records and your lender

Who it is for

  • Homes on a private well
  • Buyers whose lender asks for a water test
  • Anyone who wants to know what is in their water

When to book

Add it when you book your inspection. Lab results take a few days, so book early in your due diligence period.
