Home inspections in Whispering Pines, NC
Whispering Pines is our home village, a community of lakes, golf and wooded lots just north of Southern Pines.
Many homes here sit on wooded lots or along the lakes, and many were built a few decades ago and have been updated since. Shade and water are lovely to live with, but they also mean more moisture: crawl spaces, decks, gutters full of pine needles and roofs that stay damp longer.
Whispering Pines is home for us, so these are the houses we know best.
What we watch for in Whispering Pines
- Crawl space and under-deck moisture near the lakes
- Gutters and roofs under heavy pine cover
- Decks, docks and stairs exposed to the weather
- Ageing heating and cooling equipment
